Me? I'm Enough.

Happy Valentines Day to any and all who are celebrating!

Today, I'm sharing with you about someone I'm in love with.

That someone?

Well, it's me!

I found this idea on Ashley's blog who got it from Little Miss Mama's blog. As soon as I read Ashley's post, I knew that I wanted to do this, eventually.

I figured- what better time to do this than Valentine's Day.

A day that I could be 'boo-hooing', feeling down in the dumps or sorry for myself. A day I could be overindulging in wine and chocolates. A day that I could be- like many days- unaware of my strengths.

Instead though, I'm decided to celebrate my strengths today because I Am Enough.

Life may not be perfect, but, it's good & I've got lots of good that I bring to my own life.

Remember, ladies, YOU are ENOUGH.

I Am Enough.

I am loyal friend, sister and daughter.

I go out of my way to make sure others feel encouraged, supported & taken care of.

I think of unique ways to make others feel special- something that not everyone

does. I know that I am a work in progress- ever changing & I've accepted that. I am empathetic and show sympathy. I am generous with my time and money. I am a good listener. I am independent and can take care of myself. I can do things alone- with confidence. When I really care about something I am passionate and I pour my heart into it. I love and I love deeply. When I have to be, I can be strong & courageous- even if I don’t think I can. I am grateful. I see the beauty in the otherwise insignificant. I have so much emotion and can feel so deeply. I am good at guiding others in the way they should go.

I Am Enough.

In what ways are YOU enough?! What do you love about you?!

I'd encourage us all to reflect on this some today.

All you single ladies out there, don't let today discourage you or get you down! You are LOVED. Even if it's not by a significant other- someone...more than likely...multiple people LOVE YOU. I'd encourage you ALL to do something special for yourself or even for a friend or family member. 

I think I'm going to get myself a beautiful bouquet of flowers today. Not roses- that's for sure- but something pretty from Trader Joe's. Oh, and some gluten free chocolate while I'm at it. If it wasn't a weekday, I'd want to go out with my single friends, er friend, and do something fun! Unfortunately, it's a work night. I probably won't do anything of excitement.
