Hello lovelies!
Weight Update....
Weight lost last week- 0.0lbs
Weight lost to date- 3.4lbs!
Weight loss to go- 31.6lbs!
Non Scale Victory- This is kinda a small one & to be honest, I had to think long and hard about what my NSV was, but, I wore a dress out this weekend that I hadn't worn since probably October. It fit better, I felt more comfortable and I looked BETTER than I did a few months ago.
I'm not surprised by the NO change on the scale this week.
(If you saw my post on Monday, you probably weren't either!)
Y'all, I'll be honest. I didn't even TRY to eat healthy this weekend. In fact, I think I tried to eat unhealthy. I didn't cut out gluten this weekend & even had a soda (or two). It's okay, it happens BUT I will remember the way my body was feeling on Monday after eating horribly all weekend.
By Monday morning....my stomach was bloated, I just didn't feel great AND I feel like my body was CRAVING good, healthy and whole foods.
I just let loose this weekend and it didn't benefit my body.
All that said, I needed some extra (pin)spiration this week to get me moving (ha, no pun intended!) back in the right direction. I was talking to my grandmother on the phone this weekend- it was her birthday!- and we were talking about how much easier it is to eat healthy (mainly we were discussing gluten free) because of the internet resources we have. She's so right! I don't know how I'd do ANY of this on my own without blogs, pinterest, facebook, blog encouragement, etc!
How did we do this before the internet?! Well, I didn't, but, you know what I mean.
So here's where I'm getting MY inspiration for this week!

I really want to do this next week! How easy would it be to pack a HEALTHY lunch for work the night before if your fridge look like THIS?!

I have a water bottle like this just SITTING in my office. I seriously need to get some tape and do this! I like this in small increments and obtainable goals so this is right up my alley!

Well, there is MY inspiration for the week ahead! How are you doing with your health & fitness goals?!
Have a great (and healthy!) day!
You are full of great tips & tricks recently. I definitely need to try the water bottle thing. I usually drink two tervis' full of water each day, but I don't think that' anywhere near what I should be consuming. Love this idea to help!
ReplyDeleteThese are great tips! You should link this to our Fitness Friday post tomorrow. I especially love the workouts you shared - I'm huge on being able to do a workout at home.
ReplyDeleteGreat tips! I really love that poster that says "Make your life." I just started working out a few weeks ago, and I'm already letting myself get mentally defeated. It's tough!
ReplyDeleteI need one of those water bottles!
ReplyDeletegreat tips! I feel crappy after eatting crap food, check out my weight loss http://adayinthelifeofmektt.blogspot.com/p/weight-loss.html
ReplyDeleteCan I love all of these!? I worked out with a friend this week and it really, totally, awesomely helped. LOVE that NSV too girl.
ReplyDeleteSo I've been (well not eating mostly, but now lately) doing the slow carb thing and I can reeeeally tell the difference and see it working. It's not for everyone but I honestly love it and it's all I've ever been able to stick with. Mostly because you get one cheat day a week where you literally eat anything and everything you want. It might be worth a try for you too if you feel like you've hit a wall.
ReplyDeleteReally digging the pins you shared! Always looking for some good motivation to stay (or get back on) the healthy wagon.
ReplyDeleteNew follower! Loving the biggest loser edition!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up, Jenn!
