As mentioned earlier this week- I'm off with a crazy work schedule so some of my fantastic blogging friends have taken over my blog and have some fun posts planned for you!
Ricci (guest poster 1 of 3) is one of my closest blogging friends! She is such a special & sweet girl! I read her blog DAILY and can constantly relate to pretty much EVERYTHING that she has to say. Enjoy getting to know her on my blog today and make sure you stop by and visit her blog, too!

I'm super excited about it...can't you tell?!
So anyway, like I was saying, I blog over at A Beautiful Mess. It's a lifestyle blog where I talk about everything...my house, my job, my puppy, my DIY projects, my love of Starbucks and anything pink, my obsession with my hair, and my life as a single girl.
Being single and almost 30 is rough. Especially in the south. It seems like everyone I know is already married with babies! Including every girl I graduated high school with. I have dated plenty guys but just haven't found my Mr. Right. (insert sad face here). It's certainly not for lack of trying...lol! I wrote about my misadventures in the world of online dating here and here.
Honestly I don't mind being single 99.99% of the time. It's only bad around the holidays, at weddings, or at baby showers. In fact, I have a little gem I would like to share with you someone said to me at my sister's baby shower this fall...
"It must be nice to be single and spend all day sitting around doing Pinterest projects."
Back story: I made the wreath for my sister's baby shower and when someone found out that's what they told me. No "What a pretty wreath!" or "You must have worked so hard on that!", only the above mentioned statement. You can find the original post here. You can find the wreath I made here...
I love to make wreaths. I even have my own Etsy Shop.
I have enjoyed taking over Jenn's blog and hope you have learned a little something about me! Please stop by my blog and say HI sometime!!
Hope everyone is having a fabulous day!

I can't believe someone would say that to you! They must just not be happy with their life. Don't let it get to you.
ReplyDeleteI was pretty upset at the time but now I just laugh about it. She must be pretty unhappy to pick on the one single person in the room. Talk about an easy target! HA! Thank you for the comment!!!
