Hello friends!
I hope you're having a great week! Sadly, I've been MIA from blog world again this week. I'm hoping work life slows down sometime soon! I just can't bring myself to look at my laptop once I've been working all day.
I didn't have time to get posts together for this week, but, I'm up late tonight & can't sleep soooo I thought I'd do a little "brain dump" and join my friends Amber and Neely for "It's Okay Thursday!"

Hey, It's Okay....
*To totally geek out on an Audrey Hepburn biography (that you recorded off of PBS) multiple times in one week when you can't sleep!
*That I'm seriously slacking on blogging. It's just one of those weeks- again!
*That I'm seriously slacking on blogging. It's just one of those weeks- again!
*To be disappointed when you saw things going one way...but....they go another.
*To take a 1 1/2 sick days because you really did need them.
*To feel frustrated with your body when it's acting up!
*To think long and hard about how you can make some room in your budget for a pedicure.
*To never stop thinking about life changes...what can improve/what can be removed/what can be changed!
*To know it couldn't ever happen but to wish that you were blonde. (I think it's because I'm watching friends and I love Jennifer Anniston's hair!)
*To know its time to do laundry because I have limited underwear left....
*To be irritated when a text message goes unanswered.
*To love the new AT&T commercials and to hate the new Target commercials!
*To be holding on to Christmas gift cards to Target & Bed Bath Beyond so that you continue to have the option to use them!
*To be annoyed that I couldn't fall asleep all night until I started to blog-then I couldn't keep my eyes open!
*To be kinda obsessed with Facebook now that I have it again. Friend me!
*Speaking of Facebook, it's totally okay to be slightly (read- totally and completely!) over seeing all the engagement notifications of couples who are way younger than me.
*That I'm finishing up this blog post in the Starbucks drive thru for breakfast because I haven't bought groceries in a while....
*To be so sick of these gray and rainy days in Atlanta! And to have my fingers crossed that
*To be so looking forward to this day being over so I can go home and get back in my bed!
*To still have my NYE manicure. Hey, it's shellac and it's just now starting to chip off.
*To try to hide my Starbucks as I sneak into the office 5min late...
What's okay with you today?!
Hope y'all have fantastic days!

I totally understand the gift card thing. For some reason, I love the feeling of having them in my purse. The hubby likes to go in search of something to buy as soon as he gets one, but I hoard mine. Example- JUST used 2 TJMaxx cards from Christmas 2011! haha
ReplyDeleteHere's to hoping you can squeeze in that pedicure :) Have a great rest of the week!
Haha! Whenever I run to Starbucks before work, I totally try to hide it when I walk to my desk. Even if I'm not late!
ReplyDeleteI love shellac manis!
ReplyDeleteIt's ok that you were late today...I was too! :) Found you through the link-up and enjoyed the post!

OMG. I've been lusting after Jen's hair too. I've almost convinced myself to give it a try, even though I'd spend eleventy billion dollars on the upkeep of keeping my dark brown hair light and sunny.
ReplyDeleteI'm okay with a lot of those things (read: all of them) too!
ReplyDeleteMiss you around the blogosphere but I totally get it and have been in a similar funk :)
xoxo
I definitely need to look into my budget to see if I can fit in a mani & pedi...that sounds like some ultimate relaxation!
ReplyDeleteI completely know how you feel about the blogging. I get home, and I just look at the laptop like "nope, no way, not happening tonight!" haha. I'm sick and just too tired to try and be funny lol.
ReplyDeleteI really wish we lived near each other, we could totally go get relaxing pedicures together and just breathe for a few minutes. :)
Hugs to you, my friend! xo
If you are a big Audrey fan, I recommend you read "Fifth Ave, 5AM." It's all about what went behind the writing, filming and casting of Breakfast at Tiffanys.
ReplyDeleteIn the past whenever I've gotten a gift card, I go out and buy something right away! Surprisingly I haven't done that yet. Yay for us!
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE Audrey Hepburn. I have several of her movies.
I just found your blog. And I love it. A whole lot.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute!!!!!!
Would love to have you over on my end, too :)
xoxo,
Sierra
Oh, Just Living the Dream
I want to change my hair anytime I see a friends episode! That darn Jennifer and I LOVE Monica's hair in the Christmas Candy episode. :) Hope you have a great weekend!
