Giveaway, Linkups, Reviews- OH MY!

Happy Sunday, Y'all!

That's right! I'm here & blogging on a WEEKEND! It's been a while since that, but, I think I'm finally getting back to into my blogging groove so I wanted to jump on it and start writing before the opportunity passed!

I have kind of a 'hodge podge' of a post on my brain today! I haven't been able to find my 'voice' in blogging lately. I haven't been motivated, I've haven't been inspired and just haven't really had much to say lately. Well, now that I have the urge to right again I'm feeling an OVERFLOW of things to comment on, talk about and say. Don't worry, I won't be overloading y'all right now- but- expect to hear from me a lot more in the upcoming weeks! I just wanted to give you all a disclaimer to this all over the place post you are about to experience!

So- I'm SO VERY excited to be linking up with my lovely friends Allie Brin for their newly started link up- Pit and Peak! The linkup, which goes up every Friday I'm just a bit behind...., is a chance for everyone to to share their PEAK (high point) and PIT (low point) of the past week.  From there, you jump around and read about the pits & peaks of some other lovely ladies! It gives you a chance to encourage/relate/commiserate with people on their PITS and to celebrate/congratulate/relate to the PEAKS of their week, too! I'm all about making CONNECTIONS with other bloggers, so, you KNOW I had to link up with them!

PIT-
Unfortunately, I had several things I felt like I could list here. I just haven't felt super "up and up" this week. It was a rough week & I was a little down.  My biggest pit, though, was the fact that I was sick for the first part of this week. So, this is super personal BUT it's my blog so I share what I like! I struggle with endometrosis which sometimes causes severe pain in my pelvic region. Well, this week was really, really bad for my endo (as I like to call it) and I had to go to the doctor, take pain pills & try to figure out how to mange this pain moving forward. I plan to write more about this for y'all one day BUT this was definitely the pit in my week.

PEAK-
On the flip side, I felt like I had several things I could write about that I ENJOYED about this week, too! I'm going to go with the fact that I DID NOT have to work this weekend! I typically don't work weekends, but, I did last weekend and it was SO NOT enjoyable. I appreciated the fact that I didn't have to work and was able to spend some time with my girlfriends. That much needed time off was definitely the highlight of my week!

Y'all make sure you check out Allie and Brin's blogs and link up with them for Pits and Peaks! The linkup is open until Wednesday and then a new one will be up on Friday!

Have you all heard of Influenster?!

I'm sure that a lot of you have. If you haven't- YOU MUST CHECK INTO IT.  So, a couple of weeks ago I got an email from influenster letting me know I had been selected to receive 3 new dish soaps to use and review for them. I was really, really excited! I know, I know....it's dish soap...you all are probably thinking I'm lame. BUT, here's the thing. 1) I just moved into a new apartment so I was in need of things like dish soap & all that and 2) I knew that if Influenster was sending it to me it wasn't going to be something that was lame.

Well, once again Influenster did NOT disappoint! I received 3 full size bottles of Palmolive's new Fresh Infusions line!

These three AMAZING scents are awesome! There is Lime Basil, Lemon Thyme and Ginger White Tea. I couldn't even decide which one I should use first!

Well, this week I decided that I NEEDED to tackle cleaning my kitchen. (It was even on my {5 for Five} list this week!) Between being sick, being away for work & just being a little lazy...my kitchen was in serious need of a cleaning. Well, once I remembered that I had my new dish soaps to do dishes with I was, honestly  a little excited to get to work cleaning my kitchen.

I finally got to try out my soaps- I used the Ginger White Tea this time & I LOVED it. Not only did it smell delicious, but, it cleaned my dishes SO well and left my hands feel soft and moisturized after I used it. I even got a little over zealous and scrubbed my sink clean with it once all my dishes were done! I really, really loved this stuff! It's something that without a doubt I'll be purchasing again!

Oh! Another plus of this product?! The great packaging! Most times, I hid my dish soap away under the sink. These bottles though?! SO pretty & they look great out on 'display' by my sink...see below for proof! I actually LOVE keeping them out & showing them off. I think they add a nice little something to the kitchen sink.

I would HIGHLY recommend that y'all pick up some Palmolive Fresh Infusions the next time that you're out at the store....even if you don't necessarily need dish soap...pick some up anyway! You'll be happy that you did!

Lastly, I HAD to let you guys know about the AWESOME giveaway I'm participating in over at Paige's blog! She is celebrating 1,000+ followers! Congratulations Girl! By the way- have you seen Paige's new blog layout and theme?! Go check it out- so great!

To celebrate that fact that she has over 1000 followers- Paige is hosting an ALL AD SPACE giveaway! How great is that?! There are a total of 36 ad spaces that you could win! How great is that?! Make sure you get your entries in below!
