Holiday Glam!

Hi there, Party of One followers! I'm Sara from Social Sara. I am thrilled to be guest posting here on Party of One! Thanks for having me, Jenn. With the holidays in full swing, I thought I would bring you some of my favorite eye makeup products, perfect for creating a little holiday glam!  I am girly in every sense of the word so naturally, I adore makeup. Here's my holiday look...

eye paint  / eye shadow / eye liner / glitter liner / mascara

When applying makeup, I spend the most time on my eyes. They are the focal point of our face and should definitely be played up! I'm a firm believer in an eye shadow base as it lays the foundation for the eye makeup. There's nothing worse than shadows and liners that move or bleed during the day and by the time you get home you look like someone gave you a shiner. To remedy this, I use eye paint by Mac in Bare Canvas. Now that I have the foundation set, it's time for the drama! Start with some dramatic eye shadows...I typically use three or four colors and for that reason, palettes are great.  Follow up the shadow with a great liquid liner (this one is water proof!), then add some glitz and glitter with this fun and easy to use liner. Finally, apply your mascara.

There you have it... glamorous in a snap!
